The stylized V sits on top of a data tape. It was designed in the early days
when our work was accomplished on a Burroughs Banking System. Since then our
technological journey has passed many a processor and operating system. From
Zilog Z80 to Intel Pentium, from the Internet to intranets the times have changed
and Vetrol has adapted and risen to the occasion. The business arenas that we are in today may or may not be the same ones we were in yesterday. As the needs of our clients change, we adapt to fulfill those needs.
From developing custom applications to configuring a single stand alone workstation, to providing full network solutions, we have built a history of consulting with our clients to help them arrive at the optimal configuration to suit their needs, budget and timetable.
Remember when it was very expensive to produce CAD documents in-house? Vetrol Data Systems responded to the need for an affordable alternative by offering drafting services. Now there are excellent, well priced software packages available and drafting is no longer a division within our company. The occasional requests that still come in are referred to a competent subcontractor.
And accounting packages that didn't quite fit the bill? We found it difficult to find one for our own internal use, so we designed one specifically for our needs. Before long, our clients were asking us to produce customized packages tailored to their specific business or industry needs. By taking the time to understand each client's business, packages are written and installed.
In 1991 there arose a need for teachers, parents, and students to communicate electronically. Vetrol Data Systems was approached by Peter Robinson, from the Indian River Education Foundation, to design a local computer access system for e-mail, teleconference, forums, etc. IRWIN (Indian River Widearea Information Network) and IRENE (Indian River Education Network) were born.
Technology has advanced at a rapid rate, providing the capability to increase production, efficiency and customer satisfaction at the same time. Once again, a new niche developed... interactive voice response systems for building and zoning departments. Based on our success with our community "hot line" we were asked to provide a solution. AIRS was born in 1993 as that solution.
The affordability of home computers combined with the ease of accessing the vast information resources on the interent via hypertext spurred the creation of the Internet Division in 1995. Its primary mission is to provide local community information as well as a gateway to the vast resources of the intenet.
While the services we provide may vary with the times, the commitment to our clients remains constant. Vetrol Data Systems never forgets that our most valuable assets are our satisfied customers and clients.
